Alaves' 1-0 win against Getafe was suspended for a short time due to chants against Mason Greenwood.

The Manchester United forward was barracked by Alaves fans with chants of 'Greenwood die. Greenwood die'.

Ref Jorge Figueroa Vzquez decided to stop the game and activate the anti-violence protocol that was made through the speakers at the babazorro stadium.

The Andalusian referee wrote up what happened on the field of play in his match minutes.

"In the 18th minute of the game I had to approach the field delegate to tell him that the shouts from the stands of: 'Greenwood, die' should stop. It was communicated over the public address system that the insults towards the player should stop, and they did not occur again."
